Shortly after the
first-ever 2 Series Gran Coupe was officially unveiled, BMW released images and
details about the M Performance Parts that will be available for its latest
model.
At the front,
there’s a high-gloss black grille as well as carbon fiber M Performance mirror
caps. As for the rear, BMW has developed a subtle gloss black lip spoiler,
which that is said to be functional and actually helps to reduce lift, and M
Performance stainless steel tailpipes with a carbon fiber casing.
Two different
summer wheel options are available through the M Performance Parts catalog.
These include 18-inch M Performance 554 M forged wheels and 19-inch M
Performance double-spoke 555 M ones. Both come finished as standard in Jet
Black, but the 19s can be finished in two-tone black and silver, while the
18-inch wheels can be equipped with winter tires. Moreover, a second set of
18-inch M Performance 556 M Bicolor wheels in Cerium Grey are also available in
winter spec.
Inside, the BMW 2
Series Gran Coupe can be optioned with a bespoke steering wheel with Alcantara
surfaces and a red marking in the center of the wheel. Customers can also
option M Performance steering wheel paddles in carbon fiber frabic as opposed
to the standard chrome surface. BMW has also designed M Performance floor mats,
unique LED door projectors, an M Performance key holder, and M Performance tire
bags should owners ever need to transport their tires.
