The release of the Great Wall Motors (GWM)’ Pao
(P-series) pickup has caused a lot of hot discussion in Chinese automobile
circle, many people think that this pickup is definitely an unprecedented
masterpiece. It doesn’t take long before the Great Wall Motors introduced a
heavy-duty pickup product, which is very important for the Great Wall Motors
and the entire pickup market, because the emergence of this pickup means the
electrification in the pickup market begins to gradually expand, this is the
Fengjun (Wingle) 7 EV. At the 2019 Chengdu Motor Show, GWM Wingle 7 EV opened pre-sale, the
official pre-sale price ranges at 256,800 yuan to 266,800 yuan (US$ 36,019 –
US$ 37,421).
From the
overall appearance, Wingle 7 EV has a lot of changes compared with Fengjun 7
fuel version, the front grille features a fully enclosed design, and a lot of
blue decorations are added around it. Behind the front badge there are two
charging ports with different charging modes.
In terms of body size, the length and width of the
Wingle 7 EV are 5400/1800/1760 mm, the wheelbase is 3350 mm, and the size of
the bed is 1680/1460/480 mm. In addition, WIngle 7 EV is also available with an
optional truck cap, which can be installed by the user according to his own
needs.
In the interior design, Wingle 7 EV doesn’t change too much, it replaced
with a new electronic shift lever, the chrome decoration also changed to blue,
once again highlights the identity of its electric pickup. The new car is also
equipped with an intelligent network connection system jointly developed by
Great Wall Motors and iflytek.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with an
e-motor with maximum power of 201 hp, peak torque of 300 Nm, battery
capacity is 60.76Kwh, the official claimed the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is
only 9 seconds.
