If you’re in the market for a modified Jeep Wrangler
that you can take on a treacherous off-road adventure while also driving to a
black-tie dinner, this just might be the one for you. Dubbed the Black Hawk Expedition,
it comes from Chelsea Truck Co. and Kahn Automobiles and is looking for a new
home with a £ 73,999 (US$ 91,221) price tag.
So, what do you get for the money? The
off-road-focused upgrades include a suspension lift kit to increase the ride
height and ground clearance, distinctive 20×9-inch alloy wheels wrapped in
275/55 Cooper STT Pro tires, and mud flaps made from toughened rubber.
No mention is made about any powertrain upgrades in
the listing, so we guess this Wrangler still features a 3.21 rear axle,
electronic stability control, hill descent control, and other functions that
make it exceptionally capable when the going gets tough.
In terms of looks, Chelsea Truck Co has fitted
pillar-mounted LED cube lights, new 100 mm tailpipes, a vented hood, a
four-slot grille, daytime LED running lights, a matte black paint scheme, a new
spare wheel cover and electric side steps.
The interior of this bespoke Wrangler is also really
special. All of the seats have been re-trimmed in plush quilted leather with
white contrast stitching, there are Kahn-brand floor mats, distinctive badging,
custom kick plates, and little emblems on the seats that read ‘The Road Is My
Catwalk.’
