Seat has launched
the Mii Electric in the UK and is asking £ 19,300, PiCG
included, for the only trim level available. The car is also available from
£ 199 per month, with a £ 4,399 deposit, and the
first 300 customers who place an order before the end of the year will get a
wall box charger, 3-pin charging cable and 3 years of servicing and roadside
assistance, free of charge.
Aimed at urban
driving, the Mii Electric is powered by a 61 kW (83 PS) and 212 Nm of torque electric motor, matched to a single-speed transmission, and
can hit 50 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The 36.8 kWh lithium-ion battery
provides a range of up to 259 km in the WLTP test cycle and
supports DC fast charging, taking less than an hour to charge from 0 to 80
percent.
Offered in a choice
of five metallic colors (Tungsten Silver, Chester Blue, Candy White, Deep Black
and Tornado Red), it gets standard 16-inch matte Cosmo Grey alloy wheels, LED
DRLs, heated and electrically adjustable side mirrors and rear privacy glass.
The interior is
highlighted by the chrome detailing, ambient lighting, leather wrapped steering
wheel, gear knob and handbrake lever, heated front sports seats wrapped in
cloth upholstery and height-adjustable driver’s seat. The car also packs a
5-inch TFT screen, smartphone integration with Drive Mii app, DAB radio,
Bluetooth, TomTom sat-nav, USB and AUX ports, remote climate control and a few
other features. The Lane Assist, Hill Hold Control, Traffic Sign Recognition
and rear parking sensors are standard.
Seat will soon
expand its electrified lineup with the new el-Born, plus plug-in hybrid
variants of the Tarraco and next-gen Leon, as well as the performance-oriented
Cupra Formentor and Leon.
