Jeep has brought back the Freedom Edition to the
Wrangler lineup, launching it in two- and four-door body styles. Pricing starts at US$ 34,190 and US$ 37,690 respectively, not including destination and dealer fees, with the first
batch to be available in Bright White, Firecracker Red and Ocean Blue. The
Black, Sting Gray, Granite Crystal, Punk’n, Hellayella and Bikini will follow
shortly.
Based on the Wrangler Sport S, the new Wrangler Freedon Edition features
special accents on the outside, including the American flag, ‘Oscar Mike’ badge
(military slang – On the Move), military star decal on the hood, black Sunrider
soft top, privacy rear glass, side steps and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels
painted in Satin Carbon and shod in all-terrain tires.
Changes inside the cabin include the McKinley black
cloth seats with black leather bolsters and Light Tungsten accent stitching, as
well as ‘Oscar Mike’ embossing throughout. Jeep says that with every
Wrangler Freedom Edition sold, they will also donate US$ 250 to the United Service
Organizations.
