Pics of the North American 2020 Jeep Wrangler hybrid
running tests in Detroit, USA, have made it online. The SUV looks identical to
its ICE-powered counterpart. In early 2019, Jeep launched PHEV
versions of its Renegade and Compass models, and is currently working on
electrifying its Wrangler, which it announced a few years ago.
A closer look at the photos reveals new black
paneling over the hood cover, front fenders, and charging port cover.
Interestingly, while both the Renegade and Compass have their charging ports at
the rear end, the Wrangler has it at the front.
In all likelihood, the Jeep Wrangler PHEV will debut
at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late October 2019.
