Acura will use the SEMA Show to introduce to a 2020 RDX A-Spec equipped with an assortment of conceptual accessories. Designed to give the crossover an aggressive look, the accessories are primarily constructed out of carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Among the components made from this lightweight material are the mirror caps, rear diffuser and door blades. The model also has a carbon fiber grille surround and carbon fiber accents on front fascia and side skirts.

The modifications don’t end there as the RDX has also been outfitted with a number of Acura Genuine Accessories. These include a “carbon-wrapped tailgate accent” and 20-inch wheels with a dark tint finish. The crossover also has black lug nuts as well as roof rails and crossbars with a Fork-mount bike attachment. Other highlights include illuminated door sill plates, premium floor mats and a Thule roof box.

Besides the RDX, Acura will display three NSXs. The oldest is a first-generation model which was transformed into a RealTime race car. Over the course of its racing career, the model won 14 races and finished on the podium 26 times. Acura says it is “arguably the most winning single chassis in the history of SCCA Pro Racing’s SPEED World Challenge GT series.”

Speaking of race cars, Acura will showcase an NSX GT3 Evo with an exposed carbon fiber body featuring yellow and blue accents. The car is heavily influenced by the road-going model as its chassis is built alongside the standard NSX and it features a familiar twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine. However, the racer has a number of modifications and a higher base price of € 465,000 (US$ 518,319 / £ 401,554).

The third and final NSX is the 2020 model that was unveiled during Monterey Car Week. It features an Indy Yellow Pearl paint job that pays homage to the Spa Yellow color offered the first-generation NSX. The 2020 NSX is currently available to order and pricing starts at US$ 157,500.

Last but not least, Acura will show the Type S concept. Designed to preview the return of Type S variants, the sedan features an aggressive exterior with a Diamond Pentagon grille and JewelEye LED headlights. While it’s technically a concept, Acura says they will introduce two Type S models in the next two years.
