The Aston Martin
DBS Superleggera needs more power, said absolutely no one ever; yet
Wheelsandmore has launched a couple of software updates, each priced at € 4,193
(US$ 4,670) in Germany. Regardless which one you choose, they will make your
British super GT 105 PS and 130 Nm more powerful.
This means that the 5.2-liter V12 engine is capable of pushing out 830 PS and 1,030 Nm of torque.
The extra oomph has
definitely made the DBS Superleggera quicker, although Wheelsandmore didn’t
disclose the new 0-100 km/h time, which in the stock model takes 3.4
seconds. Top speed remains identical, though, at 340 km/h.
Now, the DBS
Superleggera is one of the best looking cars in class. Thus, it doesn’t need
any visual updates, as they’ll probably ruin, rather than improve, its styling.
As a result, the tuner has just fitted a new set of wheels.
Measuring
10×22-inch up front and 12×22-inch at the rear, and wrapped in 265/30 and
315/25 high-performance Pirelli tires respectively, they have been specially
developed for the model. For the rims, Wheelsandmore is offering different
finishes, so that when completed, no two DBS Superleggeras will look the same.
Encountering two
identical DBS Superleggeras is going to be tricky anyway, as this is one
expensive product whose pricing starts at US$ 304,995 in the US of A, € 274,995 in
Germany and £ 225,000 in the United Kingdom – and, of course, there are many
customization options for customers to choose from.
