Bajaj Auto has given a small styling upgrade to the
Pulsar 150 Neon. The base variant of the Pulsar 150 family gets fuel tank
extensions – a feature that was already available on the premium versions of
the Pulsar 150 range. The addition of the fuel extension could be an exercise
to distinguish the 150 cc model from the newly launched Pulsar 125 Neon. Rest
of the design details and colour options remain unaltered. The Pulsar 150 Neon
is available in three colour options – Neon Red, Neon Silver and Neon Lime
Green.
Other styling features include neon paint for Pulsar
badge on the tank, grille on the side panel, the "150" logo on the
rear panel, pillion grab rail, tank pad and tank stripes. Matching highlights
are also visible above the headlight. The budget-friendly hardware includes
single-piece saddle, conventional telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable
twin rear springs and a drum brake on the rear wheel. The anchoring power to
the front is offered by a disc brake. The safety net on the motorcycle includes
a single-channel ABS.
The company had previously revised the price of the
Pulsar 150 Neon to increase the gap between the 150 cc model and the Pulsar
125. The Pulsar 150 Neon, which was sold for INR 71,200* before the price
increase, is available at INR 75,200*. In comparison, the entry-level variant
of the Pulsar 125 is available at INR 64,000*, while the front disc brake
version retails at INR 66,618*.
