While minivans are
not exactly tuning material, Larte Design have stepped away from their usual
business and modified a Mercedes-Benz V-Class. Dubbed Black Crystal, the
vehicle gets a visual makeover, with a striking black and grey two-tone design,
separated by a red stripe. Some of the aftermarket elements used in the construction
are made from carbon fiber, which can be finished in matte black as well.
The body kit
consists of the reworked front bumper, which gets new inserts, LED lights and two
black Swarovski crystals, reshaped grille with the tuner’s logo replacing the
traditional 3-point star, side sills and different rear bumper with
incorporated diffuser, F1-style brake light and quad steel tailpipes. Larte
Design has also added the ‘Black Crystal’ emblem on the tailgate, plus a set of
multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Unfortunately, the
tuner hasn’t provided any images of the interior, which probably means that
everything has remained stock. But don’t worry, because you’re still looking at
a premium German minivan, which is very well specced, with the usual leather
trim wrapping around most touchable surfaces, comfortable seats, privacy rear
glass, infotainment system, climate control and lots of storage spaces. The
versatile seating layout can also be adjusted to fit different needs.
Larte said that it
takes around 6 hours to install the parts, whereas those who want to get this
exact look will have to part ways with their V-Class for approximately 10 days.
Pricing of the entire build is available upon contacting the tuner.
