Electric two-wheeler brand Okinawa has launched the
Lite slow-speed e-scooter in India at an ex-showroom tag of INR 59,990.
The Lite electric scooter features a 250 Watt, BLDC
motor that boasts a peak power output of 250 watts. The motor can propel the
vehicle to a top speed of 25 km/h. Despite being a low-speed scooter, the Lite
is equipped with a disc brake at the front. Stopping power at the rear wheel
comes from a drum brake. The suspension department comprises rectangular type
front forks. The vehicle comes with a detachable lithium-ion battery pack that
boasts a range of 50-60 km. An anti-theft battery lock system is also part of
the package.
The new Lite electric scooter is available in two
colours options - Sparkle White and Sparkle Blue. The vehicle is backed by a
three-year Motor and Battery warranty. Key features of the Lite e- scooter
include full LED lighting (blinkers, headlight and taillight), hazard function,
inbuilt pillion rider footrest. LED instrument console and a USB charger among
others.
The front fascia includes apron-mounted headlight
and blinkers. A U-shaped LED DRL sits on the lower part of the headlight.
Similarly, the taillight features a U-shaped design under the LED stoplight.
The saddle appears to be relatively shorter than conventional scooters. At the
back, a single-piece pillion grab rail occupies the space behind the seat. The
electric scooter rides on alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres.
