The SUV has debuted at the ongoing Auto Guangzhou show in China, introducing a new modular architecture that other Venucia-branded vehicles will utilize in the future.

The production car is based on the Venucia The V Concept, but has more traditionally designed side mirrors and doors, as well as simpler side skirts and front bumper.

Powering the Venucia Star is a 1.5-liter turbo engine designed by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance, assisted by a 48V starter/generator add-on.

The companies revealed nothing about the tech specs of the car or its interior. We will learn more closer to the launch, which is planned for 2020.
