Ford
Kuga has released full UK pricing for the all-new Kuga, which will debut as a
First Edition model early next year. The
2020 Ford Kuga First Edition initial lineup will include Titanium, ST-Line and
ST-Line X trims, available with a wide range of powertrains including plug-in
hybrid. The high-specification First Edition models are available to order
first from £ 28,145 (US$ 36,870).
The
price corresponds to the Ford Kuga Titanium First Edition, which features a
B&O premium audio system and the driver’s assistance pack as standard. The
latter brings front and rear view cameras, Adaptive Cruise Control and Traffic
Sign Recognition.
Ford
Kuga First Editions are available with all powertrains including the 2.5-litre
225 PS plug-in hybrid that costs £ 33,995 (US$ 44,530) on the road. The
2.0-litre EcoBlue 190 PS range-topping diesel engine carries the same
price as the PHEV in Titanium First Edition guise.
Kuga
First Editions are also available with ST-Line and ST-Line X trims. These
models add sporty interior and exterior design cues, a sports suspension, and
12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The ST-Line X First Edition also brings a
Handsfree Power Tailgate, panoramic roof and 19-inch alloy wheels for a £ 31,845
(US$ 41,715) starting price.
Customers
who are willing to wait a little longer can get the much cheaper Ford Kuga
Zetec, available from £ 23,995 (US$ 31,430). This base model features FordPass
Connect embedded mode, wireless charging, as well as advanced driver assistance
and safety features as standard.
Besides
the plug-in hybrid, the engine lineup includes two 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline
units rated at 120 PS and 150 PS. The diesel range consists
of a 120 PS 1.5-liter EcoBlue, a 150 PS 2.0-liter EcoBlue
MHEV mild-hybrid, and a 190 PS 2.0-liter EcoBlue unit. Transmissions
include six-speed manuals, eight-speed automatics, and a CVT for the PHEV.
