Liberty Walk’s LB-Silhouette Works GT 35GT-RR for the
Nissan GT-R, offered in two versions made of different materials, is a good
example. In the Dry Carbon option, it costs US$ 70,200 and US$ 73,570, for the two
variants, which is more than the asking price of a decent GT-R on the used car
market.
For US$ 54,540 and US$ 53,050, you’re
looking at a FRP and Dry Carbon mix of the same parts, whereas the FRP, CFRP
and Dry Carbon will set you back US$ 43,960 and US$ 42,880, respectively and the FRP
body kits are listed for US$ 34,020 and US$ 33,480 – plus, all of these exclude the
air suspension, which is another US$ 7,900. The Japanese tuner will also sell you
each part individually, including the new bumpers, front apron, canards, rear
diffuser, side skirts, bonnet, trunk, wing and fender flares.
Going for the complete look of the
GT-R pictured requires choosing the aforementioned adjustable
suspension, as well as the aftermarket wheels with a Y-spoke pattern and black
look, shod in Advan tires, and typical Liberty Walk decals.
As usual, power upgrades aren’t on the
menu when it comes to this tuner, but we wouldn’t worry about that, as the GT-R
is not exactly lacking in this department. After all, it comes with a 3.8-liter
twin-turbo V6 developing 480 horsepower or more, depending on the year and
spec.
