Roush has lifted the veil on
its menacing 2020 F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition during the 2020 SHOT Show in Las
Vegas. Just 150 examples of the upgraded pickup will be sold and come equipped
with 5.11 Tactical gear.
First, the engine. Found
beneath the hood of Roush’s latest F-150 package is a 5.0-liter V8 engine with
a 2.65-liter Roush supercharger, pumping out 650 hp and 827 Nm of
torque.
A host of other mechanical
modifications are also featured including a Roush active catback performance
exhaust system and a new Fox 2.0 Performance Series suspension system that
boosts the ride height.
Elsewhere, Roush has equipped
the pickup with 20-inch wheels finished in black and wrapped in 33-inch General
Grabber A/TX LT305/55 all-terrain tires that promises good grip both on and
off-road. The F.150 5.11 Tactical Edition also features a Roush grille with
three small accent lights, a set of flared fenders, and custom fender badging.
Those wishing to buy an F-150
5.11 Tactical Edition from Roush will only be able to choose between Agate
Black and Abyss Gray. Regardless of finish, all examples come standard with a
special graphics package. Included as standard on all units set to be built are
a 5.11 Tactical/Roush Performance Gear kit that includes a hard case with a
multi-tool, tactical pen, steel multi-tool money clip, tactical duffle bag, a
range hat, and a USA flag patch.
Prices for the 2020 Roush
F-150 5.11 Tactical Edition start at US$ 31,000 above the price of the base
vehicle. All 150 examples will be based around F-150 Lariat models and come
with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
