We happen to think that the Audi Q8 is already one of the most striking SUVs currently on sale, but tuning company Rowen International has a few ideas of its own on how to make it stand out. Set to be presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon, the Rowen Audi Q8 S-Line makes both the SQ8 and RSQ8 models seem rather bland and uninspired.
At the front, the tuning specialist has designed an add-on splitter that adds to the aggression of the car without being too in-your-face. Alterations continue at the sides with faux air vents incorporated into the front quarter panels and side skirts extensions. There are also a set of aftermarket white and black wheels that we’re not entirely sold on.
The rear of the Rowen Audi Q8 S-Line is arguably the most eye-catching area thanks to the presence of a body-colored rear diffuser and a sharp lip spoiler stretching off the tailgate. As eye-catching as Rowen’s creation is, we’d still rather own an RSQ8 any day of the week. It may not look quite as aggressive but it has the performance to give Lamborghini Urus owners something to worry about all at a fraction of the price.
Fitted with Audi’s familiar 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, the RSQ8 churns out no less than 591 hp and 800 Nm of torque between 2,200 rpm and 4,500 rpm. It will sprint to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, 200 km/h in 13.7 seconds, and hit 305 km/h)should customers opt for the available Dynamic package.
