2020 brings a new special edition version of Citroën’s popular C4 Cactus. Following the launch of the C3 Aircross C-Series a month ago, the C4 Cactus is also getting the C-Series treatment starting this month. By mid-2020, Citroën will also launch C-Series editions for the C3, C5 Aircross, Berlingo and C4 SpaceTourer.

As with the C3 Aircross C-Series, the C4 Cactus C-Series combines a sleek exterior treatment with equipment that simplifies the in-car experience. The special edition model is easy to recognize thanks to the Anodized Deep Red Colored Pack which brings red accents on the Airbump and fog-lamp trim.

Equipment also includes a ‘C-Series’ badge on the front doors and dark-tinted windows for the rear compartment. There are five available body colors: Polar White, White Pearlescent, Cumulus Grey, Platinum Grey and Obsidian Black.

Inside, the Citroën C4 Cactus C-Series features the dashboard upholstered in Grey TEP with straps, patterns and buckles, while the Advanced Comfort seats boast white topstitching and a contrasting horizontal red line at the top of the seats. The seats also feature the ‘C-Series’ on their labels, with the design scheme being rounded out by special black floor mats with red topstitching.

Content-wise, the C4 Cactus C-Series is a well-equipped model since it’s based on the mid-range Feel trim level. Customers will benefit from standard features like power-folding side mirrors, passenger-seat height adjustment, as well as Citroën Connect Nav and Citroën Connect Box Emergency and Assistance System.

Citroën offers the C4 Cactus C-Series with three powertrains including a 1.2-liter PureTech turbocharged three-cylinder petrol and two 1.6-liter BlueHDi four-cylinder turbo diesel units. The PureTech 110 S&S 6-speed manual is the entry-level model, followed by the BlueHDi 100 S&S 6-speed manual and the BlueHDi 120 S&S EAT6. The C4 Cactus C-Series is available to order in France starting today with prices starting at € 21,350 (US$ 23,900) for the gasoline-powered version.
