A special edition version of the 2020 Kia
Stinger has just been unveiled in Australia dubbed the Night Sky edition. The
new Stinger Night Sky Special Edition is based around the existing Stinger GT
model complete with the marque’s 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Those
in the market for the sports sedan in Night Sky guise have three paint finishes
available; Micro Blue, Deep Chroma Blue, and Aurora Black Pearl. The Stinger
pictured looks to be finished in Micro Blue.
Those looking to purchase the Stinger
Night Sky Special Edition will also be treated to an all-new, light grey Nappa
leather interior that further adds to the appeal of the car. The car also comes
standard with the Korean brand’s available bi-modal exhaust, developed
specifically for the Australian market to make the sports sedan all the more
thrilling to drive.
Prices for the Stinger Night Sky Special
Edition start at AUD 63,500 (US$ 41,926), making it AUD 710 (US$ 468) more than a
standard GT and AUD 1290 (US$ 851) cheaper than the GT Carbon Edition that
includes carbon hood vents, side mirrors, grille surround, rear diffuser, and
an Alcantara steering wheel.
As the Night Sky model features the same
3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 as other Stinger GT models, it continues to pump out
365 hp and 510 Nm. We recently had the opportunity to test out the
2020 Kia Stinger GT so be sure to stay tuned to hear our thoughts on the car in
the coming week or so.
