A couple of months ago, Audi‘s first-ever Audi RS Q8 broke cover, and now, it can be found in ABT Sportsline’s portfolio, which of course comes as no surprise. The German tuner has come up with a software upgrade that lifts the output of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 from 600 PS and 800 Nm of torque to 700 PS and 880 Nm.

This makes it 50 PS and 30 Nm more powerful than its Italian cousin, the Lamborghini Urus, which does 0-100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and tops out at 305 km/h. ABT has refrained from releasing any performance specs, but the stock RS Q8 needs only 3.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h and has an identical top speed to the Urus when fitted with the optional Dynamic Package – or 250 km/h without it.

This performance upgrade is also available for the RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback, which share the same engine. Completing the portfolio is the RS4 Avant, whose 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 now delivers 510 PS and 660 Nm of torque, up from 450 PS and 600 Nm.

ABT has other surprises in the making for the RS4, RS6, RS7 and RS Q8, which will include aerodynamically updated exterior components and several interior options. Suspension upgrades will also launch in the near future,.
