Skoda is prepping flagship Monte Carlo versions for its Scala and Kamiq models in the UK, featuring sporty design touches that include gloss black detailing, plus loads of on-board goodies. Prices range from £ 23,305 (US$ 30,300) for the 1.0 TSI 115 PS Kamiq Monte Carlo to £ 25,955 (US$ 33,750) for the 1.5 TSI 150 PS DSG model, while the Scala Monte Carlo is priced between £ 22,680 (US$ 29,500) and £ 25,350 (US$ 33,000). Order books for both models are open now, with first deliveries expected this Spring.

The Kamiq Monte Carlo comes with sports seats, a sports steering wheel and aluminum pedals as standard, with passengers also getting the chance to enjoy ambient lighting, a black roof lining and door sills with Kamiq lettering. As for tech, the model comes with Skoda’s Virtual Cockpit gauge cluster, plus an Amundsen infotainment system with a 9.2-inch display and gesture control.


Engine options include a 1.0 TSI 115 PS unit and a 1.5 TSI 150 PS one, both petrol-powered and available with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox. As for the Scala Monte Carlo, it comes with full LED headlights and taillights, a sporty front bumper, extended tailgate glass, panoramic sunroof and black trim around the grille, to go with the 18-inch black Vega alloys, black rear diffuser, rear spoiler and black lettering across the tailgate.

Inside, this flagship Scala model comes with sports seats, a sports steering wheel, the same 9.2-inch Amundsen infotainment system as the Kamiq, Virtual Cockpit, the same ambient lighting, black roof lining and a leather pack with red stitching.


On the engine front, the two models share the same available petrol units, a 115 PS three-cylinder and a 150 PS 1.5-liter four-cylinder matted to either manual or DSG dual-clutch transmissions.
