Audi has announced the US pricing details
of the 2021 RS6 Avant, which will cost you at least US$ 109,995 MSRP, including a US$ 995 destination charge. Once a forbidden fruit, the Audi RS6 Avant will arrive
in the US market as the perfect one-car-to-do-it-all, combining a powerful
twin-turbo V8 with a practical wagon body and all-wheel drive.
The 4.0-liter V8 engine produces 592 HP and 800 Nm of torque and is paired to an eight-speed
automatic transmission, sending the 2021 Audi RS6 from 0-96 km/h in
just 3.5 seconds.
Top speed is limited to 250 km/h but if you choose the optional ceramic brakes, Audi Sport will lift the limiter
to 305 km/h. The new RS6 comes with all-wheel steering and a specially
tuned RS adaptive air suspension as standard, with an RS sport suspension
featuring steel springs being an option.
The bodywork of the 2021 Audi RS6 Avant is
widened by 40 mm thanks to the ever-gorgeous box flared arches
while a set of 21-inch alloy wheels is standard fit. Customers will have the
ability to choose between the optional Carbon Optic or Black Optic packages,
which add things like 22-inch wheels, a black front grille and black or carbon
exterior detailing.
The cabin features RS sports seats dressed
in Valcona leather with a honeycomb pattern and RS embossing, the latest MMI
system with an 10.1-inch upper display for the infotainment and a 8.6-inch
lower display for the HVAC controls and natural handwriting inputs. The instrument
cluster operates via a 12.3-inch HD display with specific RS modes as well.
Finally, the 2021 Audi RS6 Avant will be
offered with an optional 25th Anniversary Nogaro Package, which is limited to
just 25 examples. The anniversary pack will add a set of 22-inch silver cast
aluminum wheels, special ‘RS 25th Anniversary’ badges embossed on the front
seats with contrast denim blue stitching, the Sport exhaust, and the Black
Optic and Driver Assistance packages as standard.
