Dongfeng has posted a few images of the upcoming Yixuan RV, a crossover/SUV based upon the 2019 Yixuan sedan (shown in the video). The car uses the same CMP architecture as the DS 3 Crossback, Opel Corsa, and Peugeot 208/2008.

The RV looks much like its sedan predecessor, except for the larger radiator grille spanning as far as the lower bumper and the missing brake light strip. It also wears the new Dongfeng badge alongside another one reading ‘Aeolus’ (a sub-brand name for China).

The SUV is 4,610 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall with 2,680 mm of wheelbase. The cabin hasn’t been shown yet. A digital dashboard, a touch-based HVAC and a hovering infotainment display are the main features we’d expect to see there.

The Dongfeng Yixuan RV comes powered by the company’s proprietary engines: a 1.0-liter unit good for 125 hp and a 1.5-liter one rated at 150 hp. Transmissions include five-speed manual and six-speed dual-clutch automatic. The sales will launch later in the year, with the specific dates still unknown.
