Fiat has released another sketch of its
upcoming Strada pickup truck for South America, showing the cargo bed this time
around. Overall, the car follows the same design guidelines as the currently
available Fiat Toro for Brazil. The taillights look rather compact, and the
tailgate boasts a caption that says ‘Fiat’, as well as a handle.
The car will be available in two wheelbase
versions (standard and long) and the same drivetrain as the Fiat Argo
hatchback, specifically a 1.3-liter, four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed
manual transmission.
The carrying capacity hasn’t been
announced yet, but should amount to around 700 kilograms according
to rumors.
