Mansory had a lineup of 11 custom vehicles prepared for the Geneva Motor Show but the event’s cancelation led to the tuner’s decision to unveil the projects online, one by one. Today we bring you what’s probably the most unusual build, the Mansory Xerocole based on the 2020 Can-Am Maverick X3. We’re talking about a performance side-by-side vehicle which boasts up to 195 horsepower in top trim.

Obviously, that was not enough for Mansory as the Xerocole comes with a performance upgrade that takes it to 225 PS. That’s a huge amount of power for a side-by-side vehicle, especially one that’s derived from the winner of the Dakar Rally in its class for three years in a row.

Not many details are available about the upgrade but we do know the range-topping Can-Am Maverick X3 X RC Turbo RR is powered by a Rotax Ace 0.9-liter turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engine featuring a bigger turbo, new intercooler and less restrictive airbox than lesser variants.

Mansory also took the liberty of fitting body components in visible carbon fiber, including a chunkier roof, B-pillars, engine hood and side protection arms. As for the interior, the rugged Xerocole received a leather and Alcantara treatment with orange accents for the sports seats, steering wheel and gearshift lever. Rounding out the upgrades is a slew of Mansory logos and badges inside and out. We don’t know how much the German tuner charges for these modifications but the two-seat Can-Am X3 X RC Turbo RR on which the Xerocole is based costs a whopping US$ 29,599.
