Renault is adding a new limited edition to
the Zoe EV range called the Riviera Edition, which comes fully loaded with
pretty much all the available tech features. The new Renault Zoe Riviera
Edition is based on the Intens trim level, adding things like the 9.3-inch
portrait-style infotainment system, Easy Park Assist and rearview camera.
The exterior of the French electric
vehicle is distinguished by a new Night Blue color finish and a set of
exclusive 16-inch Seidon diamond-finish wheels. The interior has also received
some love, offering the choice between two nautical-themed upholstery options –
navy blue or sand grey leather with braided piping. The color-coordinated
dashboard also features a blonde wood trim strip.
With the launch of the new Zoe Riviera
Edition, Renault has also updated the entire Zoe range with the addition of the
Active Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection. The system remains active
between speeds of 7 km/h to 80 km/h and can detect moving vehicles as well as
pedestrians and cyclists via a camera mounted on the top of the windscreen and
a radar located in the model’s grille panel.
The Renault Zoe, one of Europe’s most
popular electric models at the moment, is powered by either a 108 HP or a 133
HP motor and a 52 kWh battery pack. These give the French electric small hatch
a driving range of 395 km on the WLTP test cycle.
The new Zoe Riviera Edition is now part of
Renault’s widest-ever range of electric and electrified models. This includes
the new E-Tech hybrid and plug-in hybrid variants of the new Clio, Captur, and
Megane Estate. Renault’s EV range also includes the new Twingo Z.E, an
all-electric variant of the popular city car featuring an 82 HP motor and a 22
kWh battery pack. According to the WLTP, the combined driving range is 180 km)and the city driving range sits at 250 km.
