For years, American tuners have been modifying Ford Mustangs to the extreme. Even the Blue Oval has answered the call with top-end versions of the muscle car, such as the latest Shelby GT500, which boasts 760 HP. Joining the party in 2010 was RTR (Ready To Rock). Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s company is now turning 10, and for their anniversary, they are prepping a very fast version of the Mustang. Limited to just 10 units, it wants to mix it with the big boys as it has whopping amounts of power, courtesy of the Spec 5 bundle of upgrades.

The 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 has been supercharged and tuned to produce 750 horsepower. That’s a healthy boost over the stock power unit that kicks out 460 HP and 569 Nm of torque and can be paired to a six-speed manual or an optional 10-speed automatic transmission. Other highlights include the aftermarket coilovers and sway bars that improve the driving dynamics of the car.

On the visual front, RTR’s limited edition Mustang Spec 5 is inspired by Gittin Jr.’s drift car. It’s equipped with fender flares on all four corners, with visible bolts, updated bumpers, hood, front apron, side skirts and rear wing. The lively paint accents, which can be applied in different shades, and the forged wheels, shod in grippy tires from Nitto, round up the offering.

Details surrounding the pricing and market launch will be announced in due course, but if you’re in the market for a very powerful Mustang, then you’re spoiled for choice, but you should probably reach out to RTR and talk to them about securing a build slot.
