Three years ago, Novitec entered the SUV game with the Maserati Levante, and now they have revisited the model, taking care of the output and torque as well as updating the looks.

Named the Levante Esteso V2, with ‘esteso’ being Italian for ‘extensive’, the upgrades include a significant boost in power for all engine versions, including the top-of-the-line Trofeo. The Ferrari-built 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine has been massaged to produce 624 PS and 820 Nm of torque, up from the standard 590 PS and 730 Nm.

The stock Levante Trofeo can sprint to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and tops out at nearly 300 km/h, but with Novitec’s help, the 0-100 km/h time has dropped to 3.8 seconds while top speed has increased to 309 km/h.Other upgrades target the 3.0-liter V6 petrol and diesel versions of the Levante, further bumping the power. The former enjoys 494 PS and 660 Nm, up from 430 PS and 580 Nm, while the latter boasts 322 PS and 680 Nm – 47 PS and 80 Nm of torque more than the standard model.

The widebody conversion can be fitted to the Gran Sport, GTS and Trofeo trim levels and includes the fender flares, bonnet piece and rear spoiler lip, all in a visible carbon fiber look. For the wheels, the tuner chose the 10×22 and 12×22-inch for the front and rear axles, wrapped in 295/30 and 335/25 tires respectively.

Aluminum wheel spaces, with widths of 10 and 15 mm, are available as well, contributing to the revised stance of the Italian SUV alongside the custom suspension control module that brings the whole body 25 mm closer to the asphalt.
