Morgan has just unveiled three
limited-edition specs for two Plus Six models and a 3-Wheeler, dubbed LE60. The
cars are meant to celebrate the carmaker’s six decade partnership with Dutch
retailer Louwman Exclusive. Only five cars have been built, each with its own
distinctive theme. There are two Plus Six models in Ice Blue, another two in
Scintilla Silver and one Almond Green 3-Wheeler.
The Ice Blue LE60 Plus Six models feature
19-inch alloy wheels, yellow accents (such as on the spot light casings and
brake calipers) and LE decals on its bonnet side vents. Inside, there is black
pebble-texture leather with yellow diamond stitching and LE60 headrest
embroidery. A matte tawny wood dashboard, tunnel top trim and interior motif
round off the special edition features.
The other LE60 Plus Six spec is finished
in metallic Scintilla Silver, wearing 18-inch black Speedster wheels with
yellow calipers. It also has the number 6 painted within the grille, while a
yellow band trails the edge of the bonnet. Inside, there is yellow horizontal
seat stitching, matching LE60 headrest embroidery, plus a body-color dashboard
and tunnel top.
The Plus Six is powered by a BMW-sourced
inline six-cylinder 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, putting down 335 HP and 500 Nm of torque. That’s good enough for a 0 to 100 km/h time
of just 4.2 seconds.
As for the single LE60 3-Wheeler, it
boasts an Almond Green exterior, featuring a yellow theme just like its
four-wheel siblings – both inside and out. What makes its interior special is
the laser-engraved leather dashboard panel.
