The Audi RS6 Avant isn’t a slouch as it features a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine pumping out 592 hp and 800 Nm of torque. Those are some impressive numbers, but Wheelsandmore has done the unthinkable and given the wagon more power than the original Bugatti Veyron 16.4 that developed 987 hp when it was first introduced in the mid-2000s.

However, the company’s tuning program starts out far more modest. The Stage 1 package costs € 2,100 (US$ 2,275 / £ 1,833) and includes “classic” software optimizations. They enable the engine to produce 700 hp and 920 Nm of torque.

Moving up from there, the € 7,688 (US$ 8,331 / £ 6,712) Stage 2 package adds a Capristo sports exhaust system which “replaces the front and middle silencers for flow-optimized and acoustically relevant reasons.” Thanks to this addition, the output climbs to 715 hp and 930 Nm of torque. The mid-level Stage 3 package costs € 12,521 (US$ 13,567 / £ 10,935) and it includes modified intake manifolds as well as the installation of a new air duct and filter housing. This bumps the output to 775 hp and 1060 Nm.

Things get more serious from there as the Stage 4 package adds revised turbochargers with bigger inputs, larger turbine shafts, a modified compressor unit and reinforced axial bearings. This package costs € 33,529 (US$ 36,342 / £ 29,293), but it enables the wagon to produce an insane 952 hp and 1,250 Nm of torque. Finally, we arrive at the Stage 5 package which sees power sucking components removed and replaced by empty pipes. The company says this includes catalysts, particulate filters and silencers.

While you probably won’t get approving looks from environmentalists, the changes enable the engine to produce 996 hp and 1,250 Nm of torque. The torque rating is the same as the Bugatti Veyron, but the Audi has an additional 9 hp. Those are monstrous figures, but the package costs € 41,932 (US$ 45,441 / £ 33,804). Besides the aforementioned packages, customers can also order lowering springs, a coilover kit and an assortment of 22-inch wheels.
