The iconic DB5 coupe, famously driven by James Bond in 1964 Goldfinger, will soon make a comeback in a series of 25 units called “Job 1 DB5 Goldfinger Edition” and priced at £ 2,750,000 apiece.

It is reported that the British carmaker is re-using the original blueprints to produce the chassis and the aluminum body. The model comes powered by a four-liter inline-six engine partnered with three carburetors. Its five-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential send up to 294 hp to the rear axle.

True to its cinematic source of inspiration, the resurrected series will flaunt a variety of gimmicky “spy gadgets”. These include a smoke gun, reversing number plates, rear end armor, fake machine guns, and a radar.
