Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, a famous
fashion designer and couturier, had already produced a few memorable Citroen
special editions, such as the C3 JCC+ and the E-Mehari Art Car. This time
around, he graced the C1 JCC+ with his attention.
The car comes in five colors for customers
to choose from: white, black, red, and two shades of grey. Whichever you pick,
you will be getting tinted windows, a black roof, fender flares, and 15-inch
Planet Black wheels. Mirrors, hubcaps and c-pillars boast new color accents in
red, blue, and yellow, and there are JCC logos scattered throughout the entire
body and cabin.
Inside, the infotainment display now
resides within a black frame, there is a crimson ornamental insert in the
dashboard, the air blowers are white-rimmed, and JCC emblems are embroidered
into the seat backs.
The fashion-conscious C1 JCC+ comes based
on the Shine specification, which features height-adjustable driver’s seat,
power/heated side mirrors, central lock system, 7” touchscreen, reversing
camera, light sensor, HVAC, speed limiter, hill climb assist, and support for a
variety of services including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Mirror Link. You
can pay extra to add keyless entry and launch control options.
The car’s one-liter, three-cylinder engine
remains unmodded, which means that it still sends up to 72 hp and 93 Nm of torque to the wheels via the usual five-speed manual gearbox.
Prices remain to be announced for the Citroen C1 JCC+ by Jean-Charles de
Castelbajac.
