The fourth-generation Audi A6 Allroad has
reached ABT Sportsline’s training camp and has emerged stronger thanks to
upgrades to the gasoline and diesel engine lineup. The versatile executive
estate with an elevated ground clearance benefits from 402 HP and 550 Nm of torque in 55 TFSI petrol guise, which otherwise comes
with 335 HP and 500 Nm from the stock 3.0-liter
V6 TFSI.
Power upgrades are also available for the
50 TDI and 55 TDI diesel models, which in factory specification offer 282 HP and 620 Nm, and 344 HP and 700 Nm, respectively. With ABT’s tuning package, the 3.0-liter TDI
mills, which are paired to an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, unleash a
healthy 325 HP and 670 Nm in the 50 TDI and 379
HP and 760 Nm in the 55 TDI. As an option,
customers can order the company’s sound control for the exhaust system.
Unless you know your OEM wheels, you won’t
be able to distinguish the tuned A6 Allroad from the stock one, as it doesn’t
feature any other parts save for the new alloys. These are part of ABT’s FR and
GR series, and are 20 and 21 inches in size.
Greeting those who open the doors are the
ABT integrated entrance lights that project the tuner’s logo onto the ground.
Other aftermarket parts found in the cockpit are the custom start-stop switch
cap and carbon fiber shift knob cover.
