Manifattura Automobili Torino (MAT) will
launch the new limited edition Lancia Stratos in the UK at the 2020 Salon
Privé, which is scheduled for September. The Salon Privé car will be the latest
interpretation of the legendary 70s rally car, with each unit being based on a
donor Ferrari F430, which is then heavily modified with weight-saving and
increased agility in mind.
Its 4.3-liter V8 engine can produce up to
540 HP, which gets you from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds,
before maxing you out at 273 km/h. While the first Stratos prototype
made its debut in 2010, it wasn’t until 2018 that the final version went on
sale, after German company New Stratos GbR granted MAT the rights to produce
the vehicle.
You can attend this year’s Salon Privè
event knowing there will be extensive social distancing measures in place.
Guidelines may include temperature testing on arrival in an Isolation Room, a
one-way system across the lawns, multiple food points and bars to avoid
queuing, hand sanitizers at all guest points and more.
The 2020 Salon Privè is scheduled to take
place September 23rd through to the 26th.
