Rezvani Motors has released the first
details about their upcoming Hercules 6×6. Set to be unveiled this summer, the
model is a six wheeled truck that promises to be the company’s “strongest and
most capable vehicle to date.” The teaser images aren’t very revealing, but
they show the Hercules 6×6 will have a Tank-like front fascia with slender
headlights and an illuminated grille. We can also see a bulging hood, prominent
fender flares and six wheels wrapped in meaty off-road tires.
Specifications haven’t been announced, but
Rezvani said the truck will feature body-on-frame construction as well as a
“world-class suspension” designed in partnership with FOX Racing. This promises
to give the model “serious off-road chops.” If the standard Hercules 6×6 isn’t
hardcore enough, the company will also offer a Military Edition. It will be
distinguished by body armor, bulletproof glass and more than 20 high-tech
security features.
While a lot of questions remain, the model
will likely follow in the footsteps of the Tank which is based on the Jeep
Wrangler. Given this is a pickup, it’s likely the Hercules will have plenty in
common with the Jeep Gladiator including a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine
developing 285 hp and 353 Nm of torque. We can
also expect a 6.4-liter V8 with 500 hp and a supercharged
6.2-liter V8.
