The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is one of the most popular SUVs within the tuning community, particularly in AMG G63 guise. There are too many companies offering G63 upgrades to list here, but Brabus has traditionally been at the forefront of custom Mercedes-AMG G63 builds. The “entry-level” G63 model in Brabus’ lineup is the 700, which can also be had with the Widestar widebody kit.

The most important thing to know about it is that Brabus dials up the stock 4.0-liter biturbo V8 to an impressive 700 PS and 950 Nm of torque. That’s done courtesy of the Brabus PowerXtra B40-700 performance kit, with the package also including a Brabus BoostXtra blow-off valve.

Now, the guys over at Fostla thought they could improve on the Brabus 700 Widestar by bringing it closer to its military roots. Actually, the Hanover-based company prides itself for being the first one to apply an army-look to the latest Mercedes-AMG G63. We’re not so sure about that, but we believe their project is definitely worth a look.

The most obvious modification they made was to apply a full vinyl wrap in the special PWF (Platinum Wrapping Film) color called ‘Badass-Brewster CC4906’. Also known as Tactical Green, the color suits the Brabus 700 Widestar really well.

Fostla also installed a Brabus flap sports exhaust system, Brabus hood attachment, a rear spoiler and the RGB door sills. Equally striking is the wheel set consisting of forged Brabus Monoblock Z 24-inch rims of the Platinum Edition, finished in powder-coated glossy black. Shod with 295/35 ZR24 tires at the front and 355/25 ZR24 at the rear, the massive alloys contrast with the red calipers of the uprated braking system. In case you haven’t noticed already, the vehicle was also lowered by 30 mm.
