An exceptionally rare 2021 Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato has been filmed lapping the Nurburgring and looking oh-so-good doing so. The DBS GT Zagato was unveiled to the world in October last year and is available only if purchased alongside the DB4 GT Zagato Continuation. Just 19 examples of the two models will be produced, and buying the pair will set buyers back £ 6 million (US$ 7.84 million) before taxes.

Like the DBS Superleggera on which it is based, the DBS GT Zagato is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 that has been upgraded to 760 hp. The example filmed testing at the Nurburgring in late July might have been tested by Aston Martin to ensure everything is perfect before customer deliveries can commence. Given how rare and expensive it is, it’s highly unlikely you’re unlikely to ever see a DBS GT Zagato on the street, let alone on a racetrack like this.

A host of visual differences ensure that it stands out from the DBS Superleggera. For example, it has a bespoke grille that features 108 diamond-shaped pieces of carbon that sit flush with the bodywork when the car is parked and open when the car’s V12 is fired up. The exterior also includes distinctive head- and taillights as well as 18-carat gold wing badges, center-lock wheels, and a gloss carbon fiber roof.
