The online configurator for the 2021 Ford
F-150 has hit the web and given how popular the F-150 is, we suspect it will
soon enjoy quite a lot of traffic. As official pricing recently confirmed, the
new F-150 range kicks off at US$ 28,940 for the XL model in 4×2 guise with the
Regular Cab. In addition to the XL variant, the configurator includes the US$ 35,050 XLT, US$ 44,695 Lariat, US$ 56,330 King Ranch, US$ 59,110 Platinum, and the
F-150 Limited which starts at US$ 70,825.
The model we created is this flagship
F-150 Limited and is finished in Antimatter Blue, a no cost option. It includes
packages like a 360-degree camera, Ford Co-Pilot 360 Active 2.0 Prep Package,
Power Equipment Group, and Trailer Tow Package all as standard equipment. We
have added options including a US$ 595 spray-in bed liner, US$ 625 aluminum crossbed
storage toolbox with WeatherGuard, and a US$ 365 bed divider.
A plethora of other options are available
across the F-150 range, although the F-150 Limited comes with many of them
standard, including a Bang & Olufsen audio system, twin panel moonroof,
built-in navigation, SiriusXM radio, and Ford’s Sync4 with Enhanced Voice
Recognition.
Customers of the 2021 Ford F-150 have a
host of different powertrains to choose from, depending on the model. These
include a 3.3-liter V6, 2.7-liter EcoBoost, 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost,
3.5-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6, a 3.0-liter diesel, and a 5.0-liter V8. The
exterior design of the updated F-150 isn’t all that different from the outgoing
model but it does include some innovative new features including active grille
shutters, a new automatically deploying active air dam, and new cab and
tailgate geometry that work together to reduce drag and improve fuel
consumption.
