The Lincoln Corsair is set to benefit from
a series of updates for the 2021 model year. Most notably, the 2021 Corsair
will be available with a Sport package. This will include a number of new
parts, including 20-inch machined aluminum wheels, front and rear body-colored
bumpers, a unique Lincoln grille with a black mesh upper grille, and illuminated
scuff plates. It will be available with the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost
four-cylinder that’s producing 295 hp and 420 Nm of torque and will
be mated to an all-wheel drive system.
According to Ford Authority, the Sport
package will be available on the Corsair Reserve and Corsair Grand Touring. The
2021MY Lincoln Corsair will also be available with washers for the front and
rear cameras that clean the lenses with a high-pressure stream of water from
the wiper washer fluid reservoir. These washers will be included in the Lincoln
Co-Pilot360 Plus Package that will be available as an option on the Corsair,
Corsair Reserve, and Corsair Grand Touring and standard on certain Corsair
Reserve and Grand Touring trim levels.
This safety package includes a 360-degree
camera, Adaptive Cruise Control with Traffic Jam Assist, Stop & Go
functionality, Lane Centering, Speed Sign Recognition, Active Park Assist Plus,
Evasive Steering Assist, Forward Sensing System and Reverse Brake Assist.
Lincoln has yet to release full details, photos, or pricing details for the
2021 Corsair (other than the plug-in hybrid version), but we expect this
information to come out in the near future.
