Pricing details for the 2021 Subaru
Forester have been announced in the United States and, despite featuring a host
of updates, prices rise by no more than $400. For the latest model year, Subaru
has equipped the Base and Premium trims with Steering Response LED headlights
with High Beam Assist, features previously only available on the Limited and
Touring trims. The 2021 Forester is also equipped with a Rear Seatbelt Reminder
as standard equipment.
Sitting at the base of the range is the
regular 2021 Forester. It starts at US$ 24,795 and includes standard features such
as Subaru’s Starlink infotainment system with a 6.5-inch Multimedia system and
smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth. The
base Forester is available with 17-inch aluminum wheels and roof rails for an
extra US$ 600.
One step up in the range takes you to the
Forester Premium, priced from US$ 27,795. This variant adds things like the
All-Weather Package with heated front seats and heated exterior mirrors, 10-way
power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, 17-inch wheels in black, roof
rails, privacy glass, and a panoramic moonroof. For 2021, it includes Keyless
Access with Push-Button Start and fog lights as standard.
Next is the Forester Sport starting at US$ 29,935. It adopts a more “youthful and rugged appearance” and is adorned with
gloss black trim as well as black 18-inch wheels and a black rear roof spoiler.
Those looking for a little more luxury can purchase the 2021 Forester Limited
from US$ 31,395 and enjoy bespoke 18-inch wheels, body-colored wing mirrors, and
chrome accent trim for the fog lights. It also comes with Blind-Spot Detection
with Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
Topping out the 2021 Forester range is the
Touring model priced from US$ 34,895. It receives Subaru’s DriverFocus Distraction
Mitigation System, plus some other upgrades. The 2021 Forester will start
landing in dealerships from October.
