Toyota has announced the pricing details
of the 2021 Tundra, which adopts pretty similar updates to the 2021 4Runner,
including the new Trail and Nightshade special editions. For the 2021 model
year, the Tundra TRD Pro is also receiving a new paint, Lunar Rock, which
replaces the Army Green in the range of available exterior colors. Other
options include Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Midnight Black
Metallic.
If you still want an Army Green Tundra,
then you’ll have to opt for the new Tundra Trail Edition. This new special
edition is based on the SR5 Crew Max and features a chrome front grille,
model-specific wheels, lockable bed storage, black exterior badging, black
seats with tan stitching, and all-weather floor liners.
Finally, the 2021 Tundra Nightshade
Edition is based on the more luxurious Limited grade and sports a darkened
chrome front grille, black mirror caps and door handles, black wheels and
exhaust tip, as well as leather seats.
All models are still powered by Toyota’s
5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine making 381 HP and 401 lb-ft of torque and is paired
to a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2021 Tundra offers up to 10,200 lbs
of towing capacity and a maximum payload of 1,730 lbs. Both new special
editions of the 2021 Tundra are offered with either two- or all-wheel drive.
The 2021 Toyota Tundra starts from US$ 33,675
in the base 4×2 SR Double Cab trim, with the Trail Edition 4×2 Crewmax priced
from US$ 41,970 and the Nightshade Edition 4×2 Double Cab from US$ 43,390. As for the
TRD Pro variant, this starts from US$ 48,775 in the Double Cab bodystyle.
