Prior Design has just previewed a new widebody kit for the all-electric Porsche Taycan. The comprehensive styling package comprises of fender flares that have increased the width of the electric sedan by 60 mm at the front and 100 mm at the back, an apron attached to the new front bumper, as well as side air intakes in front of the wheels, big side skirts, a diffuser and a large fixed wing on the boot lid that gives it a motorsport vibe.

The components can be made of carbon fiber on request, and are joined by 22-inch wheels with a five double-spoke design, which are finished in black on the car pictured here. Owners of the Taycan who find the widened looks a bit too much will soon be able to order a version of the body kit that will make do without the flared fenders. Pricing and availability will be announced at a later date.

Prior Design did not mention anything about the performance aspect of the car which is a range-topping Turbo S, so it is probably still stock. Which is perfectly fine considering that it’s very fast as it is, with a 2.6-second 0-96 km/h time and a 260 km/h top speed.

The front and rear electric motors of the Taycan Turbo S develop a maximum output of 750 HP and 1,050 Nm of torque, on overboost, while the 93.4 kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be charged up to 80 percent in around 22 minutes at a 270 kW charger, give Porsche’s all-electric sports saloon an EPA-rated range of 309 km.
