Cadillac has announced a series of 2021
model year enhancements for the CT4 and CT5 sedans. New for 2021 is a ‘Diamond
Sky’ package to be offered on the Premium Luxury trim models. This package
includes a distinctive Diamond Sky Metallic color, a front grille with bright
accents and surrounds, Rocker extensions in Diamond Sky Metallic, a
color-matched rear diffuser, alloy wheels with Diamond Cut/Midnight Silver
finished, optional larger alloy wheels, Brembo V Performance brakes with blue
calipers, and transparent taillamp lenses.
Inside, the CT4 and CT5 Diamond Sky models
receive Sky Cool Gray/Jet Black leather with exclusive Diamond Fall seat
perforation, Centaurus Finish Aluminum accents on the CT4 models, Galaxy Finish
Wood on CT5 variants, alloy driver pedals, and a Diamond Sky Metallic key fob.
Elsewhere, the 2021 models are now
available with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and Cadillac has confirmed
that its Enhanced Super Cruise system with Lane Change on Demand functionality
will be available on CT4 and CT5 Premium Luxury and V-Series trims in early
2021. The infotainment system also adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
as well as SiriusXM.
Cadillac has also added some new safety
features to the sedans. This includes a Buckle to Drive feature that will
prevent the shifter from leaving Park for up to 20 seconds or until the
driver’s seat belt is buckled. Also new is a Teen Driver feature. Forward
Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking and the
Safety Alert Seat function are now also standard on all CT4 and CT5 trims.
Arriving for the 2021 model year is also
an expansion of the V-Series range of options, including upgraded leather and a
V Performance package for the CT5 Sport that adds new suspension, Magnetic Ride
Control, and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The 2021 CT4 and CT5 are
now also available in Infrared Tintcoat and Rift Metallic.
2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 will arrive in
dealerships this fall.
