Vanderhall is best known for making the
three-wheel Venice and Carmel, but their lineup is about to expand as they’ve
officially announced the all-new Navarro. Set to arrive in time for the 2022
model year, the Navarro promises to “revolutionize and create a new category of
adventure vehicle.” The company is keeping details under wraps, but teasers
reveal it’s an electric off-roader with four wheels.
We can also see the model will have a
Venice-inspired front fascia with circular headlights hidden behind the grille.
The Navarro has also been equipped with a brush bar, skid plates and auxiliary
lighting units.
We can also spot short fender flares, a
roll cage and what appears to be ‘half doors.’ The latter are enclosed up top,
but apparently open underneath. Last but not least, there are alloy wheels
wrapped in off-road rubber. They’re mounted at the outside edges of the vehicle
and this suggests it’s ready for adventure.
There’s no word on specifications at this
point, but the Navarro won’t be Vanderhall’s first electric vehicle. That honor
goes to the Edison2 which has a 28.8 kWh battery that powers two electric
motors. This setup gives the model a combined output of 140 hp and 315 Nm of torque, a 0-96 km/h time of 4.4 seconds,
and a range of up to 322 km on a single charge.
