The second-gen Hyundai HB20 debuted in Brazil in 2019 as a vehicle developed from scratch for South American markets. It is now coming to Columbia under two familiar names: the hatchback goes by “HB20 Getz” and the sedan by “HB20S Accent”.

Both share the same 1.6-liter engine model good for 121 hp and offer a choice between manual and six-speed automatic for transmission.

After the launch, the two HB20 models will have to fight for customer attention against the Chevrolet Onix, which is Columbia’s single most popular car, and the Renault Sandero to some extent as well. Hyundai had produced the original Getz in 2022 – 2011, shipping it to a wide variety of countries.
