Osprey Custom Cars has just unveiled its
latest Land Rover Defender 110 restomod that is rocking a powerful new engine
as well as a host of exterior and interior modifications. In creating this
Defender, Osprey stripped it down and proceeded to galvanize the chassis and
fit all-new body panels, including new doors. All of the body panels were
painted in Kenswick Green and then carefully reassembled back onto the chassis.
Complementing the host of new body panels
are a series of mechanical modifications. For example, there are stainless oil
cooler lines, Terra Firma springs, heavy-duty front and rear axles, new
driveshafts, stainless brake and fuel lines, and the real highlight, a 6.2-liter
LS3 V8 engine. This powertrain features custom headers and a performance
exhaust and is rated at a cool 435 hp and 569 Nm of torque. Mated
to the V8 is a 6L80E six-speed transmission.
To ensure the off-roader can handle all of
the extra power, the company has fitted new brake calipers and rotors.
Modifications continue into the cabin of the Land Rover that has a nine-seater
layout. Most notable are the custom Amaretto leather quilted seating with
heated front seats, an Alcantara headliner, a custom center console,
leather-covered back seat benches, as well as interior grab handles, locks and
latches made from billet aluminum.
