Nissan has released U.S. pricing for the 2021 Versa subcompact sedan and there are small price hikes for all trim levels. Redesigned for the 2020 model year, the Nissan Versa carries over largely unchanged for 2021MY – if you don’t count the raised prices. The base 2021 Versa S with a five-speed manual transmission starts at US$ 14,930, US$ 200 more than the equivalent 2020 model.
If we add the higher US$ 925 destination and
handling fee, the total price is US$ 15,855 – US$ 230 more than before. The same
price increase applies to the 2021 Versa S with the Xtronic CVT, which now
starts at US$ 16,600 – US$ 17,525 including destination. Price hikes for the
higher-spec SV and SR models are smaller – US$ 100 in each case.
All models are powered by a 1.6-liter
four-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 122 HP and 155 Nm of torque.
The base Nissan Versa S model is the only one equipped with a five-speed manual
gearbox, with all other grades getting the Xtronic CVT as standard. Equipped
with the latter transmission, the 2021 Nissan Versa averages is EPA-rated at 32
mpg (7.3 l/100 km) city, 40 mpg (5.9 l/100 km) highway and 35 mpg (6.7 l/100
km) combined.
The 2021 Nissan Versa sedan goes on sale
today at Nissan dealers nationwide with available features like Nissan Safety
Shield 360, 7.0-inch color touchscreen display, Automatic Climate Control,
60/40-split fold-down rear seats, and more.
The range-topping Versa SR adds standard
17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, LED headlights, and fog lights, among other
things. The model is also available with the SR Convenience Package complete

Control.
