This is the European 2021 Camry Hybrid, the facelifted version of Toyota’s sedan which now features subtle updates both inside and out. The updated Camry Hybrid is introducing a redesigned front end, which includes a redesigned bumper with a new look for the upper and lower grilles.
The bars in the lower grille that can be
had in Black or Dark Grey now extend further into the sides to make the 2021
Camry look more dynamic and wider. In addition, Toyota has added newly designed
17- and 18-inch alloy wheels, along with a new Deep Metal Grey paint finish and
differently colored LED taillights.
The 2021 Camry Hybrid also benefits from a
new floating 9-inch infotainment touchscreen display that’s now been positioned
higher in the dash for improved ergonomics. The new system has physical buttons
and dials for easier use under all driving conditions and features faster
software and better screen response, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
as standard.
Customers of the 2021 Camry Hybrid in
Europe will be also offered two new premium leather seat upholstery options:
Beige or Black. The new leather upholstery comes with herringbone pattern perforations
to enable seat ventilation. Black leather-like seats with fabric inserts are
also a new option, while the dashboard can be had with the new Black Engineered
Wood and Titanium Line pattern finishes as well.
The Japanese automaker has added the latest
version of Toyota Safety Sense to the 2021 Camry’s active safety range, which
features an updated Pre-Collision System that includes daytime front-to-front
oncoming vehicle detection, Emergency Steering Assist and Intersection Turn
Assistance. There’s also an Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control that works
together with the Road Sign Assist and an improved Lane Trace Assist.
Toyota made no changes to the Camry
Hybrid’s self-charging electrified powertrain, which consists of a 2.5-liter
four-cylinder and an electric motor and delivers 215 HP.
