Mopar has unveiled the Jeep Gladiator Top Dog concept at the digital version of SEMA. Teased last week, the Gladiator Top Dog was designed for “serious mountain bikers” and features a K-9 Blue exterior with black accents, a snorkel and auxiliary lights.

The model has also been equipped with a two-inch lift kit, custom “high-top” fender flares and 17-inch beadlock-capable aluminum wheels wrapped in 37-inch BF Goodrich KM3 mud-terrain tires. Other notable highlights include a heavy duty front bumper, tubular rock rails and Warn winchs.

The biggest change occurs out back as the bed has been replaced by a custom storage system. It houses a battery-powered refrigerator, an electric hot dog roller grill and pull-out drawers for storing tools as well as supplies. Up top, there’s a storage rack which can hold two mountain bikes. Interior changes are more modest, but the cabin has been outfitted with black Katzkin leather and blue constract stitching. There’s also K-9 Blue trim, all-weather floor mats and stainless steel pedal covers.

Like the standard Gladiator, the Top Dog concept is powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces 285 hp and 353 Nm of torque. It’s connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission which sends power to a standard four-wheel drive system.

While the Top Dog is a concept, a number of components are available from Mopar and Jeep Performance Parts. These include the lift kit, front bumper, rock rails, wheels and winches – just to name a few.
