Hot on the heels of the 2021 Lamborghini Huracan STO being unveiled, the Italian car manufacturer has been spied testing a prototype without any camouflage and instead a very striking livery. During the announcement of the Huracan STO, Lamborghini confirmed that customers would be able to personalize their vehicles through the Ad Personam program with a dizzying array of paint options and race car-inspired vinyls. The initial show car is finished in a combination of blue and orange but this example is even more intriguing.

near Modena, Italy, this Huracan STO has an eye-catching grey paint scheme that
has been contrasted by numerous bright green accents with vinyl below the
headlights, on the front and rear wheel arches, across parts of the decklid,
and on the rear wing endplates. The front splitter and part of the rear fascia
have also been painted bright green. There’s also a number of exposed carbon fiber
parts, including the louvers on the front wheel arches, the air vents of the
hood, roof scoop, and the rear shark fin.
In designing the Huracan STO, Lamborghini
took direct inspiration from the Super Trofeo Evo race car and the new
aerodynamic parts result in 37 per cent better airflow efficiency and 53 per
cent more downforce than the Huracan Performante, no doubt making the Huracan
STO even more capable on a racetrack.
Found beneath the striking bodywork is a
naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine producing 631 hp and 565
Nm of torque, coupled to a dual-clutch transmission powering the rear wheels.
