Aston Martin has revealed an exclusive new DBX spec dubbed Bowmore Edition, meant to capture the essence of two luxury British brands. Bowmore is a known single malt whiskey distillery. This exclusive DBX was created by the carmaker’s bespoke service, Q by Aston Martin, and only 18 Bowmore Edition models will be delivered to customers during a private lifestyle experience at Bowmore’s Islay in Scotland.
Visually, buyers can choose between two
exterior colors. The first is Bowmore Blue, brought back exclusively by Q by
Aston Martin, while the other is Xenon Grey. Meanwhile, Bowmore-branded copper
inlays using copper from the original whisky have been used as accents, whereas
the optional black brake calipers provide contrast.
Inside, there are polished copper cup
holders, while the sill plaques are made from recycled copper from the Bowmore
still. There’s also hand-laid copper foil detailing on the gloss black center
console trim inlay, and each car features a selection of specially designed Q
by Aston Martin accessories such as the Bowmore tweed picnic blanket and
leather holdall.
The Q by Aston Martin DBX Bowmore Edition
is on sale globally now, with customer deliveries taking place in Q4 2021.
